Similan Diving Safaris PADI 5 Star Dive Center is located in the center of Khao Lak, Phang-Nga province, 70 km north of Phuket International airport.( Google maps )

Ways of getting to our dive center in Khao lak.

• We provide a free taxi pick up from your hotel in the Khao Lak area to our dive center.

• Phuket International airport transfer or transfer from other locations in Phuket, by minivan, can be arranged on request.
• Local buses are available in Phuket town bus station to Khao Lak every hour (2-2,5 hours drive), this option is not advisable if you have a lot of luggage/ equipment.

On arrival at our dive center between 7:00 - 8:30 am we will fit your equipment and do the necessary check in paperwork.
At 9:00 am we will depart from our dive center to Ranong in an air conditioned minivan, arriving in Ranong around 12:30

We will board the Dolphin Queen at the Ranong Pier near the Andaman Club hotel.
During our 30 minutes crossing to Kaw Thuang (Myanmar) lunch is served.

For guests who wish to be picked up in Ranong.

We can pick you up from any local hotel in Ranong when pre arranged with Similan Diving Safaris.

Ways of getting to Ranong.

• Flying from Bangkok (domestic) to Ranong and we will pick you up from Ranong airport.

• Local bus from Bangkok Southern bus station and we will pick you up from Ranong bus station.

All pick ups in Ranong are between 12:00 and 12:30 pm.

Similan Diving Safaris highly recommends that you get a dive insurance (e.g. DiveAssure), since most travel insurances will not cover the costs of the Decompression chamber and other diving related accidents.

For worry free diving DAN has introduced a *short term dive insurance *. This insurance can only be purchased online at our PADI 5 star dive center before the departure.
